And I’m not sure that language proficiency is a critical metric for a 4-year CS degree. You pick that up pretty quickly, and just having a broad and basic understanding of languages is pretty much sufficient. I don’t see the purpose of a CS program being the teaching of detailed language skills; rather, when you come out of a CS program, you should be able to pick up any language quickly because of your full understanding of computer programming.

Looking back to 1984, if I had known then what I know now, I would have applied to the CS program at Carnegie Mellon. It has consistently been one of the top programs in the country for the last 35+ years.

I believe Middle East and Africa should be separated alone.
